Epcot's Festival of the Arts 2023 - Fun Figment Popcorn Bucket

Well I just got back from Exploring the Magic of Art and Cuisine at Epcot and enjoying my unforgettable trip to Epcot's Festival of the Arts.   It was very colorful and fun.

Before we could really get started on our day, we had to quickly catch our ride on Guardians of the Galaxy.  We had to do the Parent Swap, because my grandson was with us, so I got to ride twice.  If you have more than two people in your group, someone is allowed to ride again with the one that was left behind the first time.

After our Guardians of the Galaxy ride was over, we went and picked up our Figment Popcorn Bucket at the Odyssey.  How you can get your bucket is, you have to go on the Disney App and Mobile Order.  You are then added to a virtual queue and you can select a time to pick up the bucket.  You would need to pay in the app ahead of time.

It was very easy to pick up the bucket.  There was no line and we just walked right up and showed our order number and received our bucket.  It was filled with rainbow popcorn!

While we were in the Odyssey getting our bucket, we also tried some treats.
The Grape Smoothie, pictured above, is non-alcoholic and has freeze dried skittles on top.  It also comes with a souvenir plastic cup that you get to keep.  - It was actually delicious! My daughter loved the Freeze Dried Skittles, but my Sister and I did not.

Rainbow Cider Flight

My sister decided to try the Rainbow Cider Flight.  This included: 3 Daughters Brewing Black Cherry Hard Cideer, 3 Daughters Brewing Blood Orange Hard Cider, 3 Daughters Brewing Passion Fruit Hard Cider.  She liked it.  I am more into beer so I got the Rainbow Beer Flight instead.

This Beer Flight included: 81 Bay Brewing Co. Green with Envy Blonde, 81 Bay Brewing Co. Blue Butterfly Lager and Urban Artifact Brewing The Gadget Raspberry & Blackberry Midwest Fruit Tart Sour - Boy, it sure was.  Almost tasted like a cider.  I ended up liking the Green with Envy Blonde the best.

While we were trying our drinks outside the Odyssey building, there was a bubble machine going on.  It was a lot of fun to watch the bubbles and people trying to pop them.  When you popped them, it looked like smoke came out.  It was neat.  I show an example of this in my youtube video.

After we were done, we headed over to Creations to pick up the new Dumbo Passholder Magnet.  He's so cute!

We also got our scavenger hunt Sticker paper.  You have to find a famous portrait, but Figment will also be in the portrait.  There is one hidden in each country.  I think it is a lot of fun and a good way to see the Countries.  The prize was a paintable figure.  You can see that in my video.

There was a lot of nice art all set up through out the park, but now it was time for us to create some art.

Paint by Number Wall Mural

The Paint by Number Mural!  They give you a little container of paint with a number on it and a sponge brush.  You then go over and paint 6 squares with the number that is on your paint container.  You then throw away your paint and brush and get a strip of paper that shows you how the mural will look when completed.

Sometimes the Mural is completed by the end of the day, so you can go back and check it out.

Next, it was time to eat again.

We headed over to Pop Eats! for some Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup.

My daughter got just the plain grilled cheese and she opted for the Bleu Spectrum Drink which included: Blanc de Bleu Cuvee' Mousseux with Boba Pearls.  She enjoyed the Boba Pearls.

I was not sure how this grilled cheese would taste....It was SOOOOOO GOOD!!  If I was there again, I would get it.

We continued to walk around the Countries and looking for the Figment Paintings.  Then we stopped in America at The Artist's Table and tried the following:
Beer Flight, Duck and Dumplings, and the Hummingbird Cake

The Hummingbird Cake is Banana Cake with Pineapple, Coconut, Pecans, and Cream Cheese Frosting with Banana Sorbet.  It was sweet, but pretty good.

I was not sure if I was going to like the Duck and Dumplings.  I had never had duck before and was curious.  It was delicious!  It was very tender and I thought it tasted like bacon.

We also got this Beer Flight to share.  It consisted of: Boulevard Breweing Co. Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale; Parish Brewing Co South Coast Session Amber Ale; Brewery Ommegang Three Philosophers Belgian Quad (this last one was a bit too strong tasting for me)

While you are at the Festival do not forget to pick up a Festival Passport.  They are free and list all the food at the different Kiosks.  There is also a Colorful Cuisine, where if you get all six foods listed in the passport and get a stamp of each one, you get a special treat when you turn it in.

When we got over to China, my daughter had pot stickers at the quick serve restaurant and my sister got us these:
Silk Road Hard Lemonade

The Silk Road Hard Lemonade was my favorite drink that I tried today.  It as so pretty and had glitter in the drink.  I liked it a lot.  The drink consisted of Smirnoff Vodka, Lavender-Coconut Syrup, and Lemonade.

My Sister got the Sea Butterfly.  I thought it was pretty strong and I did not care for the magic boba pearls.  She said it tasted really good when you got half way done.  This drink consisted of Butterfly Pea Flower - Infused Cocktail with Smirnoff Vodka, Light Rum, Lychee Syrup and Magic Boba Pearls.

Mozzarella Fritta

Also, I did not have a photo of the Mozzarella Fritta when I made my Youtube video, so here it is:
Flash-fried Breaded Fresh Mozzarella with Artist Palette Condiments.  My daughter got this and she liked it.  I never got a chance to try it!

As it got dark we rode the rides in the front of the park and there was no line.
